Classes

Glass courses are offered year ’round at The Glass House. No experience is required for our beginner classes – just a desire to learn! Our most intense (and popular) beginner course is our 5-week Beginner Class which focuses on technique. Students are guided through the skills required to complete a suncatcher (as a “warm-up” project) and a hanging panel of their choice. Upon completion of the 5-week course, many of our students go on to take Intermediate courses such as lamp making and mirror construction. Courses currently being offered are detailed in the “Classes” section of this web site.

If you have an idea for a class, or would like to take a class that is offered, but at a different time, feel free to contact us and we can discuss “customizing” a class for you. A minimum of 4 participants is required in order to do this. A “custom class” is perfect for a night (or day) out with friends or family, as a way to meet new people. We also host birthday parties for ages 8 and up. Please call The Glass House at (613) 384-5330 for details.
