The Glass House was established in 1972 by Sheila
Marsh and the late Bill Blair. The Glass House was located in downtown
Kingston until 1999 when the current owner, Lynda MacRae, purchased the
business from Sheila and moved the store to the west end of Kingston. In
December 2008, the store was moved to its current location at 991 Sydenham Road, across from the Cataraqui Cemetary, where customers and staff are enjoying a beautiful heritage home, and
more visible location (not to mention the new kitchen that is saving us money now that the Tim Hortons is further away!!)
The Glass House is staffed by
Lynda, Yolanda
& Meghan who have worked closely together in one way or another for several
years. By combining their talents and personalities, The Glass House
staff continues to offer customer service in a knowledgeable and friendly
fashion. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful circle of loyal customers;
many of whom have helped to support the business for years and years and are,
quite frankly, the "guts" of what we do and why we do it! Thank You!
